Within the housing is a vacuum tube (11) and projecting from this is a movable contact rod that connects with the actuator rod (13) via a coupling (14). Fixed to the rod are clamping blocks (19, 20) that are secure by bolts (37). Electrically conducting connecting loops (27, 28) are located on both sides and are fixed to the clamping blocks and to brackets on the inner wall fo the housing with bolts (34, 35). The power carrying loops are produced of silvered copper strip with a thickness of 50-100 micron.
