CONSTITUTION: As for the scanning optical device for guiding a luminous flux emitted from a light source means 1 onto the surface of a deflecting element 5 through a 1st optical element 2, forming the image of the luminous flux deflected by the deflecting element 5 on a surface to be scanned 8 in a spot state through a 2nd optical element 10 and scanning the surface to be scanned 8, the device is provided with at least two mirrors; the 1st and 2nd mirrors 6 and 7, and both of the two mirrors 6 and 7 are provided with a positive refractive power in a main scanning surface, and the mirrors are arranged so that an optical path going from the deflecting element 5 toward the 1st mirror 6 and an optical path going from the 2nd mirror 7 toward the surface to be scanned 8 may intersect each other. |
