The overload relief valve comprises a coupling ring (7) axially movable in relation to the driven shaft (4) to which it is fixed. The coupling ring is pre-tensioned by spring towards the worm wheel (3), and engages with an axially movable plunger (16) for a limit switch (20). The coupling ring has snap-in double-conical catch holes (13) on the end surface of the coupling ring facing the worm wheel. Balls (12) held by seatings in a counter surface, clip into the holes. The inner cone is steeper than the outer cone of the double conical holes.
