<p>PURPOSE: To surely feed paper sheets from a manual paper feeding part and surely set paper sheets in a paper feeding cassette with a simple constitution, even if a corner nail separating method is used, by making common the conveying route of the paper feeding cassette and that of the manual paper feeding section. CONSTITUTION: The conveying route of paper sheets fed by a paper feeding cassette 1 and that of paper inserted on a cover 2 are made common by making the cover 2 covering the top surface of the paper feeding cassette 1 stacking paper sheets therein the paper inserting and conveying member of a manual paper feeding section while providing the paper feeding cassette 1 with a corner nail 4 for separating paper sheets one by one and conveying it with a paper feeding roller 7. The cover 2 is provided with a guide plate 6 with an end 6a extending upward and obliquely such that the paper sheets are manually inserted in a nip between a pair of conveying rollers 8 without engaging with the corner nail 4.</p> |
