PURPOSE: To prevent the displacement of a brake pedal into a cabin when the energy is input from the front of a vehicle in a brake pedal device to be arranged in a leg space provided in front of a driver's seat. CONSTITUTION: A brake pedal 10 is formed of a lever part 12, which is supported by a turning support shaft 16 at an intermediate part thereof freely to be turned, and a pedal 4 fixed to one end of the lever part 12. The other end of the lever part 12 is connected to one end of a connection link 20, and the other end of the connection link 20 is connected to one end of a turning link 24. The intermediate part of the turning link 24 is supported by a turning support shaft 26 freely to be turned, and while, the other end thereof is connected to a push rod 30 of a booster 32. The lower end of a pedal support 52 for supporting the turning support shafts 16, 26 is fixed to a dash panel 54. |
