Module for transmission, conversion or acquisition of optical or electrical data

A modular arrangement is used for the conversion, transmission and acquisition of optical/electrical data. The module consists of two main parts that can be positioned with a number of relative angular positions. Typically one part will have a main contacts that remains connected to contacts on the other part irrespective of the relative positions and allows signal transmission to occur. The second part can be set in any one of four positions. Both parts can have multiple connection points along one side.
