Hydraulic bicycle brake with brake disc

The bicycle brake has a hand lever with a main cylinder (1). A two-way valve (4) is connected beyond the main cylinder. A hydraulic conduit (6) leads from the two-way valve to the brake caliper. Another conduit leads from the two-way valve into a pressure chamber (11) of a work cylinder with a piston (9) with a large effective surface (17). A plunger (10), which has a small effective surface (18), is provided on the opposite side of the piston to the pressure chamber. The pressure chamber (12) of this small effective surface issues into the hydraulic conduit leading to the brake caliper.
