摘要

PURPOSE: To produce an image forming material excellent in resemblance to printed matter, having a wide image transfer temp. latitude and satisfactory transferability of the image area and excellent in suitability to the production of a releasable cushioning layer and to produce an image receiving sheetlike material and a releasable cushioning layer. CONSTITUTION: In this image forming material capable of transferring its image forming layer obtd. by successively coating the top of a substrate with a releasable cushioning layer capable of peeling an image forming layer and the image forming layer, the cushioning layer consists of two or more layers, the VICAT softening temp. of the lower layer is <=65 deg.C (JIS-K7206) and the VICAT softening temp. of the resin of the top layer is >65 to 150 deg.C (JIS-K7206). The thickness (μm) of the top layer is <1/10log (X-65)/230+1} [X is the VICAT softening temp. (JIS-K7206) of the resin of the top layer].
