An insulation mat consists of at least 2 layers with a natural fibre pile. At least 1 layer (2, 4) is provided with a pile (6) applied in a laminar shape (6) while one layer (3) has a stratified pile (8). Pref. the mat has three nonwoven layers (2, 3, 4) and the middle layer consists of a pile (8, 6) which is applied differently from the other two layers (2, 4). The nonwovens (7) with a stratified pile (8) are made of plant fibres, cotton or linen, and the nonwovens (5) with a laminar pile (6) consist of animal hair, sheep wool in partic. |
