A projection television is provided to decrease the number of cooling fans by having the cooling fans for common use and by changing an air flow path, thereby reducing noises due to the cooling fans. A lamp generates light. A lamp case(230) is coupled to a base board(300) to wrap the lamp. A ballast(240) is coupled to the base board to turn on and off the lamp. A housing is coupled to the base board. An air inflow hole is formed at a side of the housing. The housing includes a lens for making brightness of the generated light uniform. A fan(260) blows air toward the ballast. An air guide part guides the air by the fan to the air inflow hole. A supporter(290) is coupled to the base board to support the housing and the lamp case. The air guide is formed at the supporter.
