摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain good reproducing characteristics in spite of adhesion of dust at <=16% light transmittance of a reflection layer by forming the reflection layer contg. a dyestuff material on a transparent substrate formed with ruggedness corresponding to information signals and having reflectivity of a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION: This optical information recording medium is produced by forming a dyestuff-contg. layer 3 having the reflectivity of 15 to 25% as the reflection layer on the transparent substrate 1 formed with recessed pit parts 2a and projecting land parts 2b corresponding to information signals, guide grooves and address code pits. The light transmittance of the dyestuff-contg. layer 3 is regulated to <=16%. The hindrance of the signal reproduction of the optical information recording medium having the light transmittance of the dyestuff-contg. layer 3 larger than 16% is resulted by the adhesion of the dust, etc., onto the dyestuff-contg. layer 3. The execution of the signal reproduction by a recording and reproducing device for low-reflectivity media, such as magneto-optical disks, is thereby made possible and the optical information recording medium capable of maintaining the good reproduction characteristics in spite of the adhesion of the dust, etc., is obtd.
