PURPOSE: To provide a bending measuring apparatus for long material by which bends in multi-directions can be measured and measurement can be carried out even if the object to be measured is at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of laser optical sensors 5 are installed near an object 3 to be measured at a optional distance one from another along the longitudinal direction of the object 3 to be measured. Laser beam is applied to the object 3 to be measured by each laser optical sensor 5 and reflected by the object, and based on the time taken for reflection, the distances between the object 3 to be measured and a plurality of the laser optical sensors 5 are computed and the bends of the object 3 to be measured are measured.
