PURPOSE: To obtain a photosensitive material less in color stains, superior in color reproduction performance, less in discoloration of color-undeveloped parts during image storage, and prevented from deterioration of lightfastness of a magenta color image by incorporating a mixture of dialkylhydroquinone isomers in at least one of the photographic constitutent layers. CONSTITUTION: At least one of the photographic constituent layers contains the mixture of the dialkylhydroquinone insomers obtained by allowing hydroquinone to react with a mixture of 9-20C branched olefin isomers, and they are not of a single composition but a mixture comprising plural structural isomers, and the mixture of these isomers are synthesized by dimerization, pentamerization, or hexamerization of olefins. The mixture of the dialkylhydroquinone isomers are substituted by the 2 alkyl groups each having a secondary or tertiary carbon at theα-position.
