<p>Macromolecules from a sample are electrophoresed and the obtained electrophoretogram is contacted with a planar matrix of magnetic particles. The magnetic particles having binding specificity to one or more specific species of biological macromolecules, whereby the one or more specific macromolecules bind to the particles in the matrix. The particles can then be collected on the basis of their magnetic properties and the bound macromolecules can then be separated from the particles.</p> |
