PURPOSE: To reduce a load of a computer for sound eliminating processing, and secure sufficient tone generation speed by allocating tones of the number, from which prescribed tones are eliminated and which is less than the number of tones to which tone generation indication given, to voices in an idle condition when the number of voices in an idle condition is less than the number of tones to which tone generation indication is given. CONSTITUTION: Tone generation indication of a musical sound composed of aggregation of plural tones is received, and the number of these plural tones is compared (S1) with the number of voices in an idle condition to which tones are not allocated at present, and when the number of voices in an idle condition is less than the number of these plural tones, tones by eliminating prescribed tones from the plural tones are allocated (S7) to the voices in an empty condition. When the number of voices in an idle condition is less than the number of plural tones corresponding to a musical sound to which tone generation indication is given, among these plural tones, tones low in a preferential degree of tone generation may be eliminated. |
