PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an interface that receives both analog and digital signals and provides integrated program or channel guide information. SOLUTION: A supply source 12 supplies analog and digital video signals each denoting an image to carry program guide information, a demultiplexer 14 receives the digital video signal and provides an output of the program guide information, a demodulator 28 receives an analog video signal luminance component and provides an output of the program guide information. A microprocessor 18, a video graphic adaptor 20, a demultiplexer 14, and the demodulator 28 are interconnected by a data bus 32. The program guide output is transferred to the video graphic adaptor 20 that generates a graphic video signal to represent the program guide information. The graphic video signal and one of the selection video signals are given to a multiplexer 24 that provides an output of the video signal representing an image denoted by the program guide information the selected video signal.
