A 3D image displayable liquid crystal display device is provided to selectively display 3D and 2D image by selectively on/off the second line light source. A plurality of line sources(115) of the backlight unit(125) is located in the single-side of the liquid crystal panel(110). The bar type a plurality of pixels(p) is comprised of the matrix type in case of the liquid crystal panel. The pixel of each bar type is arranged to the direction which the reduction(Pa) of pixel extends and the direction which the longitudinal axis(Pb) extends. The line source is arranged as the form having the predetermined angle about the axis direction(y) of pixel and inclines.
