In the present invention, disclosed are a highly absorbent water absorbing agent and a manufacturing method thereof. The highly absorbent water absorbing agent comprises: calcium chloride which is a deliquescent substance having an excellent effect of absorbing moisture inside a wrapper of food or the like; a highly absorbent resin and starch to prevent leakage of water generated as a result of continuous moisture absorption; and a vegetable based or inorganic porous carrier having an excellent moisture absorptivity and deodorization effect. Also, the highly absorbent water absorbing agent uses a thermoplastic resin, thereby having excellent productivity. |
