PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less-expensive heat exchanger capable of performing a stable high efficient heat exchanging operation.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger of this invention is constituted by laminating the number of [n] of heat transfer plates 1-1 to [n] through packings. Front and rear surfaces of the heat transfer plates 1-1 to [n] are made as heat conductive faces 6, high temperature fluid is contacted with one heat conductive face 6 and low temperature fluid is contacted with the other heat conductive face 6. The heat conductive faces 6 are formed with irregularities through grinding. The irregularity is formed in such a way that it has a pitch of a range of 1 μm or less, a ratio between a height of irregularity and the pitch is 0.0005 or more and a variation of the ratio becomes less than thirty percent from an average value of ratios at each of the wavelengths. A stable heat characteristic can be attained even if the prior art grinding work not showing stable heat characteristic is applied and a heat exchanging efficiency can be improved as compared with mirror-finished state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
