The double flow kitchen extractor hood has a movable flap formed by a drawer (6) sliding in a direction perpendicular to the open section axis. Several springs (8) return the drawer to its normal flow rate position. A locking mechanism (5 - 10) ensures the drawer's immobilisation when in its largest flow rate position and its release by action on a cord (6c) forming a pulling handle fastened to the drawer. The locking mechanism comprises a swinging plate (5) which has an internal groove (5b) which engages a projecting stud (10) carried by the drawer. The groove emerges in a widened part whose centre is occupied by a ramp (5c) which holds the stud and free the plate. The drawer has a horizontal extension (6a) forming a support for a membrane (7) which provides automatic control of the induced air. |
