FIELD: commutator machines, primarily ac machines for domestic appliances. SUBSTANCE: double-pole commutator machine has inductor with poles, armature with even number of poles Z and simple lap winding built up of 2Z sections with similar direction of lay and slot pitch of 0.5Z-1, commutator with 2Z number of segments, and brushes whose width ensures contact with three commutator segments; sections are numbered according to sequence of their connection to commutator. Given characteristics are most typical of ac commutator machines for domestic appliances. Novelty is that second side of each second section is placed in same slot as first side of preceding section and finishing lead of second section is connected to finishing lead of preceding section while their starting leads are connected to starting lead of next section. Proposed winding is termed "simple lap winding with alternating lay and slot pitch". EFFECT: provision for damping commutation processes without complicating machine design and at the same time retaining minimum commutation area; improved commutation and service life, reduced radio interference. |
