A pivoting device (3, 4, 7) for operational means (1, 2) such as dredger arm portions in dredgers, the pivoting device being adapted to pivotably connecting two operational means portions (1, 2) by means of a relative displacement of two pivoting device portions (3, 4) each connected with one of said portions, the pivoting device portions comprising guiding means (8, 10) to achieve a relative pivoting of said pivoting device portions. The pivoting device is especially characterized in that a first pivoting device portion (3) is guided and not pivotably displaceable along a second pivoting device portion (4) in a first operational means portion (1) by means of guides (5) running in the operational means portion, and at least one power source (6) provided in the operational means portion, said second pivoting device portion (4) pivotably and not displaceably mounted in said first operational means portion and not pivotably attached to a second operational means portion (2). |
