<p>PURPOSE: To prevent toner-image slippage by providing a sheet landing guide means near to the downstream side of a toner image transfer part, thereby preventing impact when the front and rear ends of a sheet land onto a sheet carry path. CONSTITUTION: The uppermost sheet S drawn out by a sheet feed roller 2 is separated by a separation claw 3, which separates the sheets one by one, and it is carried into a nip between a carry roller 4 and a carry roller 5. This sheet S is inverted in the process of being carried by the carry roller 4 and carry rollers 5-7, and the direction in which the sheet S is carried is changed, so that it is sent to the toner image transfer part 10 between a photoconductive drum 8 and a transfer roller 9. The front and rear ends of the sheet S, on which the transfer of the toner image is finished in the toner image transfer part 10, land onto the sheet carry path 17, which is lower than the toner image transfer part 10, by being guided by the sheet landing guide device 26. Therefore, the front and rear ends of the sheets softly land onto the sheet carry path 17 without receiving impact.</p> |
