LIGHTING-FIXTURE HOLDING RAIL FORMED AS CONDUCTOR SUPPORTER

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a luminaire carrying rail formed as a conductor support body by embedding a metal wire serving as an electrical conductor and a metal wire forming a ground conductor in molding wall parts such that contact faces of the metal wires extending over the full length of a molding are exposed. CONSTITUTION: In this luminaire carrying rail, engaging grooves 1b respectively extending inward are formed in molding wall parts in both sides of a molding body 1. A metal wire 2 of a conductor is embedded in an inward region of the engaging groove 1b of each the molding wall part such that a contact face of the metal wire 2 extending over the full length of the molding body 1 is exposed. A width of the engaging groove 1b is set to a narrow dimension such that the metal wire 2 provided in the engaging groove 1b can contact with a current contact of an adapter but cannot contact with a conductive tool or fingers for handling the adapter. Thereby, the luminaire carrying rail can be easily manufactured by continuous pressing without requiring various manufacturing processes.
