<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the manhours of fabrication, the material cost and a storage volume of an air bag and to improve a folding method, and further, effectively use a partition cloth even upon starting of spreading. CONSTITUTION: A partition cloth 6 for controlling the flow passage of inflator gas is laid in an air bag 1, and are sawn at its opposite sides 7 to the opposite side surfaces 8 of the air bag. The proximal end 9 of the partition cloth 6 are superposed with a mouth part 2a of the lower surface 16 of the air bag and is fixed to an air bag casing 3. Further, the partition cloth is formed therein with a slacking part for narrowing the width of the cloth 6, which is subjected temporary sewing so that it is broken by a predetermined expanding pressure for the air bag 1.</p> |
