PURPOSE: To provide the device generating a signal of the same frequency with a different phase as a reference input signal. CONSTITUTION: In the phase locked loop which is made up of a means 1 frequency-dividing an input signal by a frequency division ratio N, a means 4 frequency-dividing an output signal of a frequency variable oscillator 3 by a frequency division ratio M, and a phase comparator 2 comparing phases of two frequency division outputs to control the frequency variable oscillator 3, and the means 4 frequency-dividing the signal by the frequency division ratio M is provided with a means recognizing lapse of frequency division, and in which the frequency division ratios N, M differs very slightly, which is provided with a sub phase locked loop comprising a 2nd phase comparator 6 and a 2nd frequency variable oscillator 7 controlled by the phase comparator 6, and the 2nd phase comparator 6 being the component of the sub phase locked loop compares the phases of output signals of the 1st and 2nd frequency variable oscillators 3, 7, and whether or not phase comparison is executed is controlled by an output signal of the means recognizing the lapse of the frequency division provided to the frequency division means 4 with the frequency division ratio M in the main phase locked loop. |
