The receiver receives HF radio signals provided by a remote-control transmitter which can be switched between a number of different transmission frequencies via a HF reception stage (3) switched between the transmitter frequency channels via a channel switching device (17).The signals from the HF reception stage are fed to a decoder (7, 13) for the command and address components of each received signal, with the channel switching interrupted when the decoder identifies the receiver address, or when a frequency recognition device (9) within the decoder indicates the absence of one of the sampling frequencies for frequency shift keying modulation of the radio signal.
