PURPOSE: To obtain an extremely large signal at the time of reproduction by forming a membrane containing a triphenylene derivative compd. represented by a specific formula on a substrate. CONSTITUTION: A triphenylene compd. is represented by formula (wherein R is an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkanoyl group, an alkenoyl group, a carbamoyl group or a sulfamoyl group and the respective substituents R may be same or different) and can be changed in phase by heating. Since the recording of data to a data recording medium is performed on the basis of the lowering of transmissivity due to heating or laser irradiation, an extremely large signal can be obtained at the time of reproduction. |
