摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent any overshoot of a surface temperature of a reformer tube, so as to prevent reduction of a life by opening a valve so as to mix a part of off gas to be supplied to a burner in material fuel for a period of time corresponding to a reduced load quantity when a load is rapidly reduced. CONSTITUTION:When a load of a fuel cell is reduced rapidly, a load current signal detected by a load current detector 41 is inputted to a control unit 44, and the control unit 44 opens an electromagnetic valve 43 for a period of time corresponding to a reduced load quantity. A part of off gas to be supplied to a burner 8 is mixed through an off gas mixing system 42 in material fuel flowing throug a material fuel supply system 11. An off gas combustion quantity at the burner 8 is thus reduced, and a surface temperature of a reformer tube 7 is prevented from overshooting a desired temperature largely. Reduction of a life by a high temperature at the reformer tube can thus prevented.
