Writing pen with incorporated lamp

The writing pen has an elongate housing (30 enclosing a retractable pen element (9), moved between a retracted and working position by operation of a push-button (45), simultaneously used for switching an incorporated lamp (13) illuminating the writing point. The current circuit between the battery (25) and the lamp can be provided via contacts controlled by the position of the pen element, with the latter forming part of the circuit path.
