<p>PURPOSE: To provide the pen input type electronic device that is able to process data entered by using a writing brush while incorporating the characteristic of the writing of the operator into the processing. CONSTITUTION: An adaptor to which plural kinds of writing brushes are fitted is provided to an input terminal of an input pen, and the device main body 2 is provided with a selection section 5 selecting a type of a writing brush to be fitted to the adaptor, a valid height setting section 6 setting a valid read height depending on the type of the selected writing brush, a simulate calculation section 7 calculating a thickness of a written point or a line based on height data and the selected type of the writing brush when the height data of the input pen with respect to an input plane received from a tablet input device 1 via an input section 4 is within the valid read range set by the valid height setting section 6 and a display section 8 displaying written data according to the calculated thickness.</p> |
