<p>PURPOSE: To provide such an electrophotographic device that includes a combination of an amorphous silicon photoreceptor, a toner having a small particle size, and two-component brush development and shows excellent performances as a whole without causing fog. CONSTITUTION: As for a developer, a toner having a small particle diameter of 4.5-9.0μm average particle diameter and 10-50μC/g charge amt. is used. The photoreceptor used has such properties that the relative dielectric const. (in average) from the surface to at least 1-μm depth is <=5 and/or the photoreceptor has an area having <=5 relative dielectric const. (average) from the surface to 0.1-2μm depth. Moreover, the surface of the photoreceptor is subjected to roughening treatment in such a manner that the curvature of recesses is twice or more as large as the average curvature of the developer.</p> |
