PURPOSE: To safely control the opening/closing of a ticket gate door by confirming the completion of passage of a child when the data of a ticket examination using medium used by the child is effective. CONSTITUTION: First to ninth passage detection sensors S1 to S9 are constituted by combining a photoelectric detection sensor and an image detection sensor. In such a case, the second to fourth passage sensors S2 to S4 arranged at the high position of a partition frame 21 are set as the ones for adult detection, and the first, the fifth to ninth passage sensors S1, S5 to S9 arranged the low position of the partition frame are set also as the ones for child detection. When a passer passes this ticket examination machine, the passage detection sensors S1 to S9 detect whether the passer is an adult passer or child passer, and when the child passer is detected, the data of the ticket examination using medium is read, and when it is effective, a passage confirming means confirms the completion of the passage of the child passer. Also, when the passer passes the ticket examination machine and the passage detection sensors S1 toS9 detect the child, a door stoppage control means stops the opening/closing of the ticket gate door. |
