FIELD: alternative and reusable energy sources; solar concentrators in stationary solar systems (without sun tracking). SUBSTANCE: solar-concentration optical system is set up of self-contained subsystems (sections) that have combined solar concentrator and absorber. Solar-concentration optical system has several separately functioning sections arranged and interconnected so that they form handsome and reliable conical structure. Separate solar sections have large parabolic concentrator terminating into spiral surface of revolution, small paraboloid and paraboloid-cone concentrators, and also absorbing panel. System functions as follows. When sun rises above horizon, paraboloid-cone concentrator absorbs solar energy on top part of absorbing panel and paraboloid concentrators concentrate solar energy on its bottom part. Same takes place during sunset. This increases effective time of solar plant, that is, scan angle of sun rays is much greater than in plants oriented strictly at the south. EFFECT: improved degree of solar energy concentration and enlarged effective range of system operating time. |
