Security device holding information within electronic IC memory

The security device containing secret information comprises a memory zone of an integrated circuit which hold the information. This is protected by a cover which is formed integrally with the integrated circuit.The protective cover comprises a second integrated circuit (2), with an interactive connection (9, 9') formed between the two integrated circuits. Provision is made to destroy the secret information within the first integrated circuit memory in the event that the interactive connection is perturbed or broken.
