Packaging particularly for bulk materials can include an inner flexible container which can be contained and suspended within a lifting cradle (11) and about which lifting cradle (11) and the inner container an outer container can be positioned. The lifting cradle (11) has an outlet (14) so as to coincide with the outlet in the base of the inner container and to enable the discharge of materials from the inner container without the need to remove the lifting cradle (11). Lifting straps (15) can provide a loose connection with connectors from the upper portion of the inner container so that when suspended the weight of the inner container and its contents is taken by the lifting cradle (11) and not by the inner container.
