PURPOSE: To miniaturize the device structurally, save the energy, and enable reduction of NOx in the cinbustion. CONSTITUTION: A rotary body 7 has a honeycomb constitution and axially a plurality of passageways. Each of the passageways is formed into a flame hole at the end, where a flame is formed, and the combustion gas flows in the reverse direction through the respective passageways of the rotary body 7 opening to a combustion chamber 12. Since the passage of the combustion gas is stationary, the temperature of the rotary body 7 rises. The rotary body 7 is rotated by a motor 14 so that fuel-air premix which passes through the rotary body 7 can be preheated continuously and the combustion gas, recirculated together with the fuel-air premix. Therefore, the thermal efficiency can be improved by preheating and NOx in the combustion gas can be reduced. Since a flame is formed at the end of each passageway in the rotary body 7, the use of the rotary body 7 as the combustion part enables an apparatus to be made structurally smaller. |
