PURPOSE: To provide a connector in which insertion force of a connector pin is reduced, whose contact reliability is improved by actualizing multicontact, and which can be manufactured at low cost and made suitable for a multiple pin-type devices. CONSTITUTION: A connector has a female side connector part 1 in which a contact spring 4 having contact parts 5, 6 is built in a female side housing 3 and a male side connector part 2 in which a contact pin 10 having taper parts 12, 13 with different angles at tip parts is stored in a male side housing 9. In the case both these connector parts 1, 2 are joined, a plurality of the tapered parts 12, 12 are successively brought into contact with a plurality of respectively corresponding contact parts 5, 6, so that the peaks of the insertion force are prevented from overlapping. |
