The clips (2) of the roller shutter slat (1) have each a tongue (9), protruding over the slat outside (3) and covers (5) for the slat inside (4) at the highest rising sections (6,7). The covers are tabs covering the entire slab inside.Alternatively the covers may be strips effective at the highest rising sections. The covers and tongue may be arranged on a strap. The clips are typically of plastics and the slat may be a hollow profile filled with plastics foam.
