MANUFACTURE OF THERMOPLASTIC MOLDED BODY

PURPOSE: To manufacture a molded product having a favorable appearance at a high cycle by using a mold having at least two freely openable resin casting gates opening in the cavity surface in either of a male or female mold and a mechanism controlling a casting quantity of resin and casting timing of the resin into the resin casting gates each. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of freely openable resin casting gates 5 opening in a cavity surface are provided in a male mold 1. The gate is joined to a resin plasticizing device of the outside of a device through a molten resin passage 4. The resin casting gates each are provided with valves which are opened at the time of casting of the molten resin 3 into the cavity and closed when the casting is not performed. Such male and female both the molds are taken as an open state and a part of a quantity of wholly molten state thermoplastic resin to be supplied is supplied between both the molds through a part of a resin casting gate out of the whole resin casting gates. After supply of a fixed quantity of the resin, the female mold is lowered, the molten state resin supplied so that a cavity clearance does not become a thickness of the final product is spread out by force by performing mold clamping.
