PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method making it unnecessary to newly reconstitute the whole of a mold when a design shape is altered in a method for providing a design groove to the inside of a soft interior part. SOLUTION: A molding apparatus 10 has a recessed part receiving a soft interior part at a correct position and also includes a protruded portion 22 and this protruded portion 22 is engaged with the soft interior part while compresses the same to form a design groove along the protruded portion 22. Steam is introduced into the interior part through the drilled hole 23 provided to the protruded portion to melt an adhesive. Thereafter, the interior part is cooled and the adhesive in the interior part is re-solidified and, during this period, the interior part is held to a compressed state to hold down a foam and the design groove is held to the part. After the adhesive is melted by steam, the cooling of the part and the re-solidification of the adhesive are accelerated and evacuation is performed in order to sweep away moisture from the soft interior part. |
