PURPOSE: To prevent infiltration anesthesia liquid from leaking from the inner portion of a dental pulp cavity to the outer portion of a tooth and to retain infiltration pressure force by attaching a sealing stopper made of an elastic material for tightly stopping an opening portion of the tooth to a needle for infiltration anesthesia of a syringe for dentistry. CONSTITUTION: A sealing stopper 6 made of an elastic material is attached to a needle 5 for infiltration anesthesia in a syringe 4. When attaching this sealing stopper 6, the sealing stopper 6 is applied beforehand to an opening portion 3 of a tooth, and in that state, the needle 5 for infiltration anesthesia is inserted so as to attach the stopper to the needle 5. The sealing stopper 6 is made of an elastic material such as rubber, and preferably a transparent material such as transparent silicone rubber is used. Thus, by using the sealing stopper 6, the needle 5 for infiltration anesthesia is retained at a suitable position within a dental pulp cavity 2 such that the needle 5 does not directly contact the dental pulp. Also, by removal of a tecrorial membrane and a minimum bared pulp, a patient feels less pain, and the infiltration anesthesia is readily made pressure infiltrable. |
