PURPOSE: To obtain a high performance decomposition-elimination apparatus by providing aerobic bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, and facultative anaerobic bacteria for promoting the decomposition of garbage and a decomposition medium which adsorbs components generated by the decomposition of garbage in a container main body. CONSTITUTION: After a decomposition medium 9 being placed in a container main body 2 in advance, garbage 10 is charged, and a rotation shaft 7 is rotated. The shaft 7 is first rotated continuously for 1hr after garbage being charged and then a cycle consisting of 'stop' for 25min and 'rotation' for 5min is repeated. When the shaft 7 is turned to agitate the medium 9 by agitation blades 8, the decomposition of the garbage by aerobic bacteria is activated. In this way, the efficient decomposition of garbage can be attained by a method in which both aerobic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria are activated in balance. The medium 9, after the decomposition of garbage by microorganisms being advanced, is useful as a soil conditioner with a high fertilizer effect. |
