The device includes a least two amplifiers with different gains. A comparator compares an input signal and a reference signal, with the output controlling a switch. The switch is switched between the amplifiers according to the output state of the comparator. The amplifier input voltage (Yin) passes a voltage to an NPN transistor pair (Q1,Q2) which is fed by a current source (I1). The transistors select the current from the gain cells. The transistor collectors are collected to the gain cell NPN transistors (Q5,Q8,Q6,Q7) with further transistors (Q3,Q4) performing voltage/current conversion and current source regulation (I3,I4). |
