The adjusting drive comprises cams (20-22) on which needle sleeves (23-25) rotate freely, directly or via driven elements. The cams are looped by flexible tensile elements (57-59), whose one end is secured in rotary elements (36-38). The rotary elements are mounted on a driven shaft (30) via free-wheeling members. They can assume a rest position via resetting springs (63) and stops (42,60). The other ends of the tensile elements are secured to springs, whose elasticity and location is adjustable. A brake is formed by an elastic torque member, changed by the driven shaft.
