FIELD: solid particle separation. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has set of inverted troughs 1 with openings 2 for distributing light phase (gas) and partition walls 3 with openings 4 cutting-off cross-section of cylindrical device with the exception of annular space 10 between apparatus and wall 9 of cylindrical device. Cross section of troughs 1 is narrowing in the direction of its top part. The number of openings 2 per area unit of trough wall is reducing toward top part. Openings 2 are disposed in zone defined by circles with diameters (0.25-0.55) D and (0.75-0.9) D, where D is inner diameter of cylindrical device. If apparatus may be completely introduced into device or by two halves, troughs may be disposed in radial arrangement and communicated with central tube open from bottom end and closed at top end. If only disassembled apparatus may be introduced into device, troughs are arranged in mutually perpendicular directions so as to be communicated one with the other.
