<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate maintenance such as the replacement of a lamp even in the lighting system in which the direction of radiation is variable by making changeable the radiating direction of an optical unit by a driving control part. CONSTITUTION: A lighting system 1 includes an appliance main body 10 in which a radiating opening part 11 is formed, at least a lamp 17 and a reflecting plate 18 opposite to the lamp 17, and is provided with an optical unit 15 which is rotatably supported to the appliance body 10 to make changeable the radiating direction. A driving systems 21, 31 are provided in the appliance body 10 or the optical system unit 15. A driving control part 41 is provided, thereby (1) inputting radiating data to set the radiating direction of the optical system unit 15 on the basis of the data and control the driving systems 21, 31 and (2) inputting a maintenance signal to control the driving systems 21, 31 so that the radiating direction of the optical system unit 15 nearly perpendicularly crosses the opening plane of the radiating opening part 11.</p> |
