PURPOSE: To select an error information exactly expressing a fault and to output that information to a section in charge of maintenance concerning a computer system which is composed of plural processors and a shared device to be commonly used by these plural processors and collects the detailed error information of the shared device by using one of these plural processors. CONSTITUTION: An error information control means 5 suppresses the output of error information excepting for the error information from the processor to collect the detailed error information of a shared device 4 among the error information on the shared device 4 from plural processors 1-3. Therefore, only the true detailed error information on the shared device 4 is reported to the section in charge of maintenance, the section in charge of maintenance can exactly recognize the position of the fault without being troubled by false error information, and the fault can be speedily recovered. |
