Deburring method for cast work pieces

The cast work pieces have burrs of different forms. The work piece is moved in a holder adapted to match its shape from a loading station by a pneumatically moved axle, which lies in a horizontal plane, with a processing station. In the processing station the workpiece rotates about an axis which is preferably vertically aligned. The burrs are removed from the work piece in the processing station simultaneously or one after the other by different processing steps. In one embodiment the removal of cast-on burrs occurs by milling.
