PURPOSE: To provide a two-stage valve that is for such arrangement near a throttle device as controls the flow rate of air fed to injectors and a manifold properly via a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: The two-stage valve for controlling the flow rate of air supplied to injectors and a manifold 2 is so designed that a piston 25 is exclusively connected to an actuator 23 and is integral with engagement means 30 that move along with it. After a first stroke of the piston 25 away from its position abutted against a valve seat 27, the engagement means 30 entrain second engagement means 19 integral with a second piston 15, to thus entrain the second piston 15 with the first piston 25 over a second stroke away from the position of application of the second piston 15 to a second valve seat 14.
